By installing, accessing, or using the quick-convert Chrome extension or website (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

quick-convert is a browser extension that enables users to convert files between supported formats locally within their browser. The Service does not upload files to any server. Conversion is performed entirely on the user's device.

We offer a free tier and a one-time Lifetime plan that unlocks additional features as described on the Pricing page.

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. If you are under 18, you represent that you have parental or guardian consent to use the Service and agree to these Terms.

The Lifetime plan is a one-time purchase processed through Paddle, our authorised payment processor. By completing a purchase you agree to Paddle's terms of service available at paddle.com/legal.

The Lifetime license is perpetual — it does not expire and does not renew. You can activate it on any device by entering your purchase email in the extension settings.

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all new Lifetime purchases. If you are not satisfied for any reason within 14 days of your initial purchase, contact us at support@quickconver.com for a full refund, no questions asked.

Refunds are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record, in accordance with Paddle's Buyer Terms. Funds typically appear within 5–10 business days depending on your payment method.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the extension code.
• Circumvent any limitations or access controls of the Service.
• Share, resell, or sublicence access to paid features.
• Use automated tools to abuse or overload the Service.

All intellectual property in the Service, including but not limited to the extension code, website design, branding, and documentation, is owned by quick-convert and its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without express written permission.

The Service may incorporate open-source libraries (including jszip, heic2any, and AVIF codec libraries). These are subject to their respective licences.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, quick-convert shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the date at the top of this page or by other reasonable means. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
